Palavas are two mysterious producers hailing from the South of France ready to position themselves as one of the hottest new Indie Dance duos on the scene. Their name, Palavas, is a reference to Palavas-les-Flots (FR), a vacation town near their home that in the 1980’s owned the prestigious title of “Queen of Mediterranean Beaches.” In their music, Palavas aims to recapture this golden era, with sun drenched italo disco elements, and summery beats.
The duo has already been busy making a mark on the scene. Their first eps were released on Intercept Records in addition to their own label, AZZUR, and have garnered DJ support by acts such as Hot Toddy, Gilles Peterson, Folamour, Ame, Laurent Garnier, Marcus Worgull, Grazzz, Crackazat and more. They’ve also been busy DJing, with highlight performances at the I Love Techno and Big Bang music festivals in Europe.

Palavas’ latest singles “Giorgio Baroudeur” and “Aston Martine” are out now on Brooklyn’s toucan sounds record label, and they sound amazing. Here it is the first one for yuor pleasure!
