Ocurri\u00f3 hace unos d\u00edas en el \u00a0Sankeys de Manchester, el productor y DJ Marvin Louis Burns (AKA Lil’\u00a0Louis o Little Louis) cancelaba la sesi\u00f3n y poco despu\u00e9s compart\u00eda en su cuenta de facebook su versi\u00f3n de lo sucedido, disculp\u00e1ndose con su p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
Parece ser, que mientras el americano probaba el sonido de la sala, \u00a0uno de los promotores del evento decidi\u00f3 gastarle una \u00a8broma\u00a8 con una de las m\u00e1quinas de humo, lo hizo a tan poca distancia de su oreja que el aire comprimido lleg\u00f3 hasta el t\u00edmpano de Louis, provoc\u00e1ndole una\u00a0p\u00e9rdida de audici\u00f3n y equilibrio, algo que podr\u00eda influir directamente en su carrera.<\/p>\n

\n I know you wondered what happened on Saturday. I\u2019ll explain. I was really excited to play for you, thus, deeply disappointed that I didn\u2019t. As usual, I landed then went to Soundcheck. As we were about to leave, this idiot came into the booth and without notice, decided to show off a new toy (a very powerful fog or horn machine), which seemed 12 inches from my left ear. As he shot it, the compressed air that blasted out was louder and more shrill than anything I\u2019d ever heard. It hurt so bad, I jumped in the air and screamed. The pain was followed by an intense ringing and muffled silence. The left side of the room went dead, and I couldn\u2019t hear anything except that ring. I was taken to the hospital, where I spent the night being passed around a bevy of doctors including an ENT specialist. I was diagnosed with SIHL (sound induced hearing loss), a permanent hearing loss, and given a strong steroid medication. I haven\u2019t been able to easily walk straight (my equilibrium is off), so I can\u2019t work out, hold down food, and I\u2019m nauseous and lightheaded. I\u2019ve gone from sleeping two hours a day to being in bed for two days.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
